On April 11th, 2021, the PEHA 12U won the Lewiston Sasquatch Rep B Invitational Tournament, winning 4-3 in a shootout against McCall. After losing 7-1 to the host team, Lewiston, in the opening game of the tournament, the team rallied together and played four solid games to take home the championship. When asked about the tournament, Carter Johnson, a player on the 12U team and game-winning goal scorer, had this to say: “The first game was a real eye-opener. Our team had to dig deep to shift our style of play and I’m proud of how we came together in passing, hustling, and trusting each other.”

The championship banner marks the first tournament win of PEHA’s inaugural season. It is now hung underneath the scoreboard at Sherwood Ice Arena.

The 12U team travels to Utah in the coming weeks to compete in their final tournament of the season.
