We’re in the middle of a busy, exciting off-season.  Each year, we’ve committed to building on the successes of the year before – this season is no different.  Since May, we’ve held multiple organization-wide meetings to help shape the short-term and long-term future of the program, and the future looks better than ever!  You can register for tryouts with the button above or below.

Communication with families has always been a key for us, so we’ve made meaningful improvements (like this newsletter!) to keep everyone up-to-date with the program.  You may have also noticed that our social media accounts are back online, and we have a ton of fun stuff planned for the season. Make sure you tag @pacific_edge_hockey with any training/highlight clips so we can show them off!  We’re also in the process of revamping our website to be an all-in-one hub for team information and PEHA camps and clinics.

Since day one, player development has been our highest priority.  In May, Taylor Peters was brought on full-time as the Director of Player Development for PEHA.  He has and will continue to run our on-ice programs throughout the off-season.  Taylor will be working closely with all of our coaches throughout the season to develop and execute practice plans that facilitate the best development, as well as assisting all of our teams on the bench during local games.

For goalies, Oran Coffin will be returning as our Goalie Coach.  Oran will be working with our goalies every week while creating individualized development plans.  We are also finalizing goalie clinics for July/August, with the vision of providing clinics periodically throughout the season as well.

We are upgrading our dryland facility and working with qualified trainers to give our players on-ice and off-ice training under one roof.

With all that said, we’re excited to send out our program flyers for the upcoming 2022-23 season.  Let’s get to work!
